about

When you're in high school, you usually do some pretty embarrassing things. I can't say that a lot of the music I recorded at this point in time was good, but this project always impresses me.

It was an interesting thought. My friends Justin and Zac Tomlinson had turned me on to Einsturzende Neubauten and it had blown my mind. At this point, I had really gotten deep into the Residents and other experimental artists. We decided to get together with my good friend and band mate from Ersatz Glow, Sam Heath, to record something new.

In the year 2000(?) or so, we got together in my garage with a handful of instruments, power tools, and other noise devices to record this album. Despite the occasional embarrassing vocal by myself, the tracks are magnificent. Some high points include Sam's bowed bass, Zac's amazing guitar work, Justin's intense vocal work, and me destroying a Ukulele.
